My Most Triumphant Outlet Shopping Story

My favorite place to shop for bargains is at Gainesville Outlet Shops located in Gainesville, Texas. My most triumphant shopping story happened there right before back to school time last August.

My first stop is always the VF or Vanity Fair Outlet. They carry name brand clothes at a fraction of the cost. I was able to find all of my son's school jeans for $7 a pair and I found shorts for my daughter for $3 a piece! Wow, talk about deals! I spent $60 and walked away with a weeks worth of bottoms for each child!

Next on my list was shoes. There are plenty of shoe stores to shop from at Gainesville Outlet Shops. We stopped by Reebok and found shoes for each child for $35! The kids were happy with the styles and I was happy with the price. That was a bargain for everyone! So we have bottoms and shoes for less than $100 for 2 kids! We are staying on track with our budget and we are off to find tops!

We stopped by Gap Outlet and found a few shirts for my son. We spent $50 and got 3 really cool shirts for him. I found 2 shirts for my daughter here too and that made us all happy!

Our last stop of the day is always Burkes Outlet. Why? Because we always find our best deals here. I love to shop their 90% off rack. I always stock up for the next season by shopping for the deepest discounts. This takes time to sort through all of the items but I found a treasure load of bargains. I picked up 5 shirts for my son for winter, 6 shirts for my daughter for winter also and 2 shirts for me! Our total was $31 and I felt like a tired but smart momma!

I love shopping at Outlet Stores. I feel like I can shop for current styles and still get the most for my money.

1. Get plenty of sleep. It's important for me to sleep 8 hours a night.
2. Drink lots of water. I try to drink 8 glasses a day.
3. Keep our morning routine on track. This is important for those rushed school mornings.
4. Call my mom. I love to talk to her once a day.
5. Take a daily after school walk with the kids at the park. This is fun and relaxing.
6. Work in the garden. I love seeing the plants and veggies grow.
7. Plan our grocery list and menus. This is a fun way to make sure that we get our fruits and veggies in daily.

Ride On Fun, The Skitter Toys Review

I have seen many reviews and giveaways for the Skitter Toy and they have all been fabulous. I have been a fan of Skitter Toys for quiet some time and I was very excited when they allowed me to do a review for them.

I have a 10 year old son and a 5 year old daughter who were both estatic when they learned that they were getting a Skitter Toy to try out. We choose the red Skitter because red is my daughters favorite color and it is a good color for my son too. The Skitter was easy for my husband to put together and I love that it came with the upgraded red Skittertoy wheels. The upgraded wheels are made of Polyurethane and come with ABS bearings that will make the ride smoother and quieter. I also believe that the upgraded wheels will add to the life and enjoyment of the Skitter Toy too.

Our Skitter Toy came at the perfect time of year. It's Spring and for those of us in Texas that means wonderful weather! It's not too hot or too cold and the kids are ready to go outside to play. They have been enjoying their new Skitter for hours on end. It's easy for them to maneuver their new Skitter. They simply sit comfortably on the seat, then place their feet on the foot pads. The Skitter will move forward by them moving the steering wheel a quarter turn to the left and right. As they improve this movement they will naturally start to move their body with the lateral movement of the Skitter. This activity will provide them with both upper and core body strengthening. Who would have known that exercising could be both fun and rewarding for children? The Skitter Toy is a great way to encourage being healthy.

Children as young as 2 years old all the way up to an 81 year old Grandmother can ride on the Skitter. The Skitter ride on toy manufacturer recommends the safe weight limit is under 150 lbs.

I love SkitterToys because they are an American Company based in Southern California and they are owned by parent company WCNGroup. They put parents first and safety is their number #1 concern. The Skitter Car has won awards and continues to out perform other cars in the market. The Skitter Toy is on sale for $55.95 right now and the upgraded wheels are reduced to $24.95 also.

The #1 Ride on Toy is the SKITTER. It has been seen on ellen and it has received the Dr. Toy Winner for best products award. You can find Skitter Toys on youtube, facebook, and twitter too.

Disclosure: I have received a free Skitter Toy so that I may complete an honest review of the product. I have not been paid for any of my comments. My opinions are my own.
