General Mills: Pink Together Campaign and Giveaway CLOSED

I am a member of myblogspark and they have teamed up with General Mills for this important and informative blogging opportunity about the Pink Together Campaign. I am happy to be spreading the word about Breast Cancer Awareness with you. I believe that yearly well visits are an important part of our personal healhcare. The visits only take an hour and this visit may save you the rest of your life.

Right now you may help in the fight of breast cancer by joining in the 2011 Pink Together™ campaign. At PinkTogether.com you may share your personal story and messages of hope with others as well as read about others’ personal journeys. This site helps us to know that we are not alone in our personal struggle.

General Mills will donate $1(up to $25,000)to the Komen organization for each Message of Hope that is sent to someone who has shared their story on PinkTogether.com during the month of October. This donation is in addition to the $2 million donation that General Mills is making to the Komen organization. General Mills will also be turning the packaging of participating products pink in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. If you choose to purchase any of the General Mills items, please remember to save your box tops for a participating school near you. Not only will you be helping aid in breast cancer awareness but your will also be helping a school in need at the same time.
