I am a member of SocialSpark and they have asked me to share the Pimp My Cube Contest with you.
Have you ever been embarrassed by your messy work cubicle or office space? Have you ever thought that your office has to be the darkest, dingiest and most pathetic ever? Maybe your technology is from the ice age or your furniture is broken down and ready for the city dump. If so, then you will be happy to hear about this great new contest. The Pimp My Cube Contest is looking for the absolute worst office space with the messiest desk area and the worst broken down furniture that there is. The grand prize is approximately $1200 in value and the winner will be able to update their office, workspace or cube with one of three prize packages:
o New high end computer system
o New Desk, Chair and Decorations
o New Entertainment Package with high end stereo, espresso machine etc.
A second sweepstakes prize of one $200 gift card will be awarded to one registered user chosen by a random drawing at the end of the contest period. The contest period runs from 12/5/11 at 12:00 PM through 1/31/12 at 12:00 PM. Be sure and get your entry in before this contest is over.
To enter the Pimp My Cube Contest you simply upload a video showing your cubicle, office or workspace and explain the details about why it is so horrible and why it is important that Contest Factory come in and ‘Pimp’ your cube. Be sure to add in all of the funny and awful little details about your office and don't miss a thing while you are taking your video footage.
Once your contest video has been entered, you may then invite your friends, family and coworkers to vote for your video. You earn sweepstakes entry points for registering, voting, commenting and inviting others to register for the contest. All of the entry points will add up so be sure to market your video entry as much as you can. The grand prize winner of your cube being ‘pimped’ will be selected by CF judges based on various criteria that includes: the most votes, best (really worst) video and most compelling story.
