I am a member of SocialSpark and they have teamed up with SAVE (the San Antonio Vacation Experience) for this blogging opportunity.
My family and I live about 6 hours driving time from San Antonio and we have vacationed there several times throughout the years. While our vacation itinerary has changed since having kids, our love for the city has stayed the same.
A lot of times, you must travel to a city and go to their visitor center in order to receive hotel and attraction coupons. What I like about SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience is that you can see what coupons they offer on-line. SAVE makes it easy to find deals and discounts that are exclusive to the San Antonio area. You can visit the San Antonio’s SAVE program to get exclusive discounts, deals and even Limited Time Offers on some of San Antonio’s best hotels, resorts, theme parks, museums, shopping and more.
While I was testing SAVE for this review, I set up a sample vacation itinerary to see what my savings for our family of 4 could be. Our San Antonio vacation would go like this:
We would stay at the Ramada Inn SeaWorld/Lackland location where the daily SAVE rates are $45-$115 a night. The actual rate that we would pay would depend on the the days of the week that we were staying and on the size of beds that we would need. I chose the Ramada Inn SeaWorld/Lackland location because it is located close to Sea World and that would be our main entertainment while visiting San Antonio. I would buy our Sea World tickets using the SAVE program because they offer multiple discounts on tickets, saving us money.
While in San Antonio, we would visit the Alamo IMAX Theatre at the Rivercenter and use the SAVE program so that our children would get in FREE. We might even take the Alamo Sight Seeing Tour while down town and SAVE $2 off per child using the SAVE program also. The Alamo Trolley would be a fun addition to our day especially since we would save $2 off each ticket with the SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience program. We would wind down our vacation with a stop by the San Marcos Premium Outlets and use the FREE VIP coupon book that we would get from SAVE to buy a few souvenirs.
I could see the SAVE program allowing my family of 4 to save money on our San Antonio vacation. It would help make this trip more affordable and that would mean that we could vacation there more often.
